چکیده

Direction finding systems applying phase interferometer of long baseline gives high accuracy the angle arrival measurements; however, they are suffering from ambiguity and error due to antenna spacing greater than half wavelength intercepted signals. In this paper, simple two-antenna system has been adopted with zero-crossing technique used solve measurement ambiguities in processing unit. The zeros-crossing both channels (lead lag) were extracted using electronic circuitry. A count gate was formed zeros throughout difference between two channels. factor taken be even which will added output comparator estimate total difference. Multisim software simulate proposed unit calculated for different values Antenna spaces (D/λ) (1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 14, 16) applied corresponding factors have measured (zero, 14 respectively. Therefore (D ≤ λ/2) there is no ambiguity. These simulated results show a coincidence theoretical values. lead-lag also solved without need add other antennas since first zero detected by either refers lead channel. advantages over others it solves on basis real-time complex, expensive, heavy, slower response systems.

Absolute Calibration of Hydrophones Using Heterodyne Interferometry and Zero-crossing Signal Demodulation

The current primary method for hydrophone calibration is the three-transducer spherical-wave reciprocity at NPL, covering the frequency range between 1 kHz up to 500 kHz with expanded uncertainties as low as ± 0.5 dB. Optical methods can provide an alternative method for primary calibration as they directly measure the acoustic particle velocity at a specific point in the field. The hydrophone ...

Noise Suppressor using Zero Phase Signal and Accumulated Spectrum Technique

This paper proposes a wide-band noise reduction method using temporal accumulated spectrum and zero phase (ZP) signal. In the previous study, we replace the ZP signal around the origin with the ZP signal in the second or latter period to get an estimated speech ZP signal. For very low SNR environment, reliable period estimation is difficult. This paper presents a study of period estimation in n...

QRS Detection Using Zero Crossing Counts

The importance of QRS detection results from the wide use of the timing information of this component, e.g., in heart rate variability analysis, ECG classification, and ECG compression. In most cases, the temporal location of the R-wave is taken as the location of the QRS complex. Missed or falsely detected beats are problematic in all of these applications and may lead to poor results. The lit...
